Pattan, May 29 : Residents of Ganjepora Buran, Pattan, are facing a severe water crisis due to the lack of proper water facilities in the area. As a result, they are forced to use water from the local canal. However, the situation has been further exacerbated by some individuals who have illegally connected their sewage pipes to the canal, leading to contamination and pollution of the water.

The affected residents have appealed to the authorities to take immediate action against those responsible for polluting the canal. In response, the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Pattan has assured the residents that action will be taken against the perpetrators in accordance with the law [1].

The BDO’s assurance has brought some relief to the residents, who are hopeful that the authorities will take prompt action to address the issue and provide them with access to clean and safe water.
