Srinagar, May 12 : Vikram Misri, a 1989-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, hails from Safakadal in Srinagar and received his early education at Burn Hall School. He holds the unique distinction of being the first officer from Jammu & Kashmir to serve as Private Secretary to three Prime Ministers of India — Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Dr. Manmohan Singh, and Shri Narendra Modi.
