Hakeem Yaseen: Observing that trust deficit and discontentment towards mainstream was the outcome of repeated betrayals to the peopl,s trust by the sucessive state and central governments since 1953 , Chairman Peoples Democrtic Front and Former Minister ,Hakeem Muhammed Yaseen has urged for renewed confidence building measures (CBMs) to bridge the gap. He said need of the hour was to restore constitutional gaurantees and democratic rights of the people and assuage them about thier identity , integrity and honour.
Addressing workers and office bearers at one day party convention on Wednesday ,Hakeem Yaseen held some vested political parties responsible for alienation from the mainstream adding that they repeatedly breached the trust of common the people just for pleasing thier bosses at the Center to remain in power , unethically . He said doubts were created un-necessarily about accession of jammu and kashmir to India , notwithstanding the fact , they were people who orchestered and archetected this constitutional provision . “ After raising sensational slogans like Pelbesite , Greater autonomy and self – rule , they hobnobbed with with ideologically opposite central governments to grab the power , PDF Chairman said adding that sentiments of common people were ruthlessly trampled from time to time for the lust of power .
PDF Chairman has urged the centre to go for a quick socio- political course correction in jammu and kashmir to regain trust and faith of the people especially youthwho were scular by conviction and patriots like fellow countrymen . He said people of jammu and kashmir especially the youth were disillusioned about the politics of deciept since 1953 and want safegaurds to the constitunal gaurantees about thier future , about thier employment and thier demographic existence.
Hakeem Yaseen: “ Aspirations of the people about thier future and demographic rights should not be construed as an un-patriotic tendency but needs a sympathetic consideration and healing touch towards buildig an atmosphere of mutual trust and goodwill ,Hakeem Yaseen added. He said common people of jammu and kashmir were clean hearted free from any kind of hatered and hypocracy who need a warm a hug to express thier heart out . He said people have waken up now and can well differetiate between thier friends and exploiters . “ They can,t be hoodwinked on hollow slogans anymore ,Hakeem Yaseen maintained while asking the party cadre to serve the society with a sense of belonging ,to remain relevent in the emerging socio-political scene . He asked the workers to reach out to the people in thier respective areas to redress thier problems . “ This was imperative to win peoples goodwill and trust .
