A 35-year-old man was allegedly stabbed in the Suliman Complex Dalgate area of Srinagar this evening.
One Bilal Ahmad Garoo, son of Nazir Ahmad Garoo, from Boat Colony Bemina was stabbed in Dalgate area and was rushed to hospital where he died.
A police official said that a scuffle between two fruit vendors broke out in Dalgate area in which Hilal Ahmad Shera son of Riyaz Shera of Tengpora stabbed Bilal Guroo of Bemina to death.
A case (FIR No. 70/2024 u/s 302 IPC) has been registered in Police Station Ram Munishi Bagh and investigation has been taken up.
“Accused has been arrested and the weapon of offence recovered from him,” police added.
