Two more drug peddlers arrested by Sopore Police, contraband substance recovered, case registered at Police Station Sopore On 27 September, a police party of Police Station Sopore under the supervision of SDPO Sopore apprehended two drug peddlers during naka checking at Jalal Abad near ITI Sopore, identified as: 1. Irfan Mushtaq Gasi S/O Mushtaq Ahamd Gasi R/O Kralteng Sopore and 2. Mudasir Ahmad Dar S/O Abdul Aziz Dar R/O Amin Abad Arampora Sopore.
During their personal search 120 grams of contraband Charas like substance was recovered from their possession, accordingly case FIR No. 244/2023 US 8/20 registered at Police Station Sopore and further investigation has been initiated.
Ahmad Dar S/O Ghulam Rasool Dar R/O Muslim peer Sopore at main chowk Sopore.
During his personal search 108 grams of charas like substance was recovered from his possession and accused was arrested.
Case FIR No. 243/2023 US 8/20 of NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated.
