Two minors were among seven injured when a Alto car they were travelling skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge in Tadd area of Karnah north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday afternoon.
An official told that the vehicle bearing registration number JK05E 1886 met with the accident in Tadd area of Karnah when the driver allegedly lost control over the vehicle and it fell into the deep gorge.
He identified the injured as Shanaz Ahmad son of Mir Alam (40) Amraza begum wife of Shakoor Ahmad (38) Shafeeqa Begum Wife of Shanaz Ahmad (38) Asiya Begum Wife of Mohd Rafiq (35) Kulsooma Bano daughter of Abdul Rehman (25) Azad Ahmad Son of Rafiq Ahmad (1 Y) Rohail Shakoor son of Shakoor Ahmad (4)
The injured were immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Tanghdar for treatment
where their condition is said to be stable.
Meanwhile, case has been registered in Police station Karnah and investigations set into motion.
