At least two firefighters have sustained injuries in a fire incident in Bohri Kadal locality in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
An official said that upon receiving reports of the incident, which involved three single-storeyed shops, personnel and equipment from the Fire and Emergency Services Department arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames.
“During the rescue operation, two firefighters identified as Mudasir Ahmad and Robinder Singh have sustained burn injuries and have been transported to a nearby hospital for treatment,” the official said.
In the meantime, the official maintained that the fire has been brought under control.
