A truck collided with a pick-up van carrying around 30 people on a national highway in Chhattisgarh’s Balodabazar district, killing six people, including a child, on early Monday morning. About 25 people were injured in the accident.
Tragic collision in Chhattisgarh’s: Six people, including a child, were killed and about 25 people injured as a truck collided with a pick-up van in Chhattisgarh’s Balodabazar district in the early hours of Monday, police said.
The accident occurred in the Goda Pulia area on the Balodabazar national highway. The pickup-van was carrying around 30 passengers at the time of the accident. According to officials, the deceased included five women and a child.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The injured are currently receiving treatment at the Balodabazar district hospital.
