raffic on the Anantnag-Sinthan-Kishtwar road (NH244), which passes through Sinthan Top, has been restored for both directions following a temporary blockage due to heavy snowfall.
Tehsildar Larnoo Syed Muiz Qadri told, the road, which connects Anantnag to Kishtwar via the Sinthan Pass, was temporarily closed as a safety measure after snowfall accumulated, making it unsafe for vehicles. However, authorities have now cleared the road, and traffic movement has been resumed.
The road, an important route linking the Kashmir Valley with Kishtwar, remains open for normal traffic operations. Authorities have advised travelers to exercise caution while traveling through the region, especially in the wake of winter weather conditions.
Motorists are urged to stay updated on weather forecasts and road conditions before setting out on the route.
