Handwara, January 17 ( Gulistan News tv) : The traffic police in Handwara have intensified vehicle inspection drives across the region to ensure road safety and compliance with traffic regulations.

During the ongoing campaign, several vehicles were inspected, and challans were issued to those found violating traffic norms. Offenses such as driving without valid documents, overloading, and non-compliance with safety regulations were strictly dealt with.

A senior traffic official stated, “The primary objective of these checks is to promote safe driving practices and minimize road accidents. We urge all motorists to adhere to traffic laws and ensure they have proper documentation while on the road.”

The traffic police have also appealed to the public to cooperate with authorities in maintaining order on the roads and contributing to a safer commuting environment.
