Tikri police rescues 14 bovines

J-K: Police nabs OGWs weapons, other incriminating materials discovered

The Tikri police post in the jurisdiction of Udhampur police station on Monday busted a bovine peddling at 5am early in the morning.

The incident happened during the routine naka checking when a truck ‘JK03E7185’ was signalled to stop by the cops, but the truck operator fled the scene on seeing police.

When police checked the vehicle they recovered 14 cattle from it which was being taken to Kashmir region.

A case was registered in this case and an investigation was started.
