Threads web version is available: Elon Musk’s Twitter competitor Threads, a new text-based social networking platform, was unveiled by Meta at the beginning of last month. When Threads officially released, users were really anxious to give it a try because the app’s launch had been in the news for quite some time. Users can quickly sign in to Threads using their Instagram credentials and begin broadcasting their ideas to the world.

It was previously rumoured that Threads intended to create an online version in order to keep users. And now Meta has formally launched the web version.

The web version of Meta’s new social media application has received a formal announcement. In a thread on the social media site Threads, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that users would be able to access the web version soon. Users could only browse single postings on Threads until today, and there was no opportunity to engage with the post in any way. However, that will soon change.

Sharing a picture of himself, he wrote, “Actual footage of me building Threads for web. Rolling out over the next few days.”

As per a report in The Verge, Threads users will be able to post, interact with other posts, and look at their feed with the new version. As far as the interface is concerned, the web version will reportedly look similar to the app interface, with a few changes here and there. The navigation icons will be on the top of the page and there will be a small toggle button on the bottom left to choose from For You and Following feeds.

Chief Product Officer Chris Cox had stated at the time that Meta was looking at adding new retention-driving hooks to persuade users to return to the service, including as ensuring that users of the Instagram app could view critical Threads.
