Bing AI Chat: Soon, the Bing AI chat will be accessible on other online and mobile browsers as well. Bing is currently only accessible with the Microsoft Edge browser. You won’t absolutely need Edge to use Bing AI, though, because it’s available on other browsers.
“With so many new, useful features now a part of Bing, we’re excited to announce you can start experiencing the new AI-powered Bing in third-party browsers on web and mobile soon. This next step in the journey allows Bing to showcase the incredible value of summarized answers, image creation and more, to a broader array of people. You’ll get most of the great benefits of Bing and we’ll continue to optimize along the way to meet your needs across different browsers,” the company noted in a blog post.
Microsoft added that they are also developing new features, such as Bing Chat plug-ins and improving current experiences. Microsoft talked highlighted some of the most recent features of Bing AI chat in the post, including multimodal visual search in chat, dark mode, the Bing mobile app, conversation history, and the picture generator.
When the chatbot is utilised on a different browser, the corporation will limit certain of its functions. For instance, users of Chrome and Safari who visit Bing Chat will be able to type 2,000-word instructions.
The new Bing from Microsoft initially behaved strangely when it was released in February of this year. It perplexed users, sent strange requests, and even appeared to ‘fall in love’ with some individuals. These events garnered media attention, and the new AI chatbot in town received extensive coverage. However, Microsoft subsequently corrected Bing’s errors, and instances of the AI chatbot going rogue decreased. And now, six months after its debut, Bing appears to be well-positioned to compete with other AI chatbots and offers features that weren’t previously available.
