The Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing a public rally in Jammu’s Udhampur today, April 12 as part of Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) campaign for Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The Prime Minister slammed the Opposition for hurting religious sentiments by eating non-vegetarian food during Navratri, days after a video of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav eating fish was shared on social media

Union Minister Jitendra Singh is contesting the elections from the Udhampur Lok Sabha seat. This is PM Modi’s third visit to Jammu and Kashmir this year. Earlier, he addressed rallies while inaugurating several development projects on February 20 and March 7 in the erstwhile state.

The PM is also sheduled to address a public rally at 2:15 PM in Barmer, Rajasthan. Later in the day, PM Modi will hold a road show from Somnath Square to Gupteshwar Darwaja in Rajasthan’s Dausa.
