The J&K police on Wednesday asserted that they have nabbed a terrorist associate from Kashmir’s Sopore town and recovered a grenade from him.
Sopore Police along with 22RR and 179 BN CRPF, arrested a man who was in continuous contact with Pak based terrorist handlers.
He was identified as Arif Hussain Bhat son of Ali Mohammad Bhat resident of Mundji Bomai.
When the accused was interrogated, a grenaded was recovered on his disclosure.
A case FIR No. 04/2024 under relevant sections of UA(P)A has been registered in Police Station Bomie and a probe is underway.
