T20 World Cup 2024 champion, Team India, reached Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in New Delhi on Thursday, July 4 after they were treated to a hero’s welcome at the airport and team hotel. The Indian cricket team landed in New Delhi on Thursday morning in a special Air India chartered plane from Barbados. After a 3-day wait on the Caribbean island after the T20 World Cup triumph, the cricket heroes returned home with the trophy. The BCCI shared a video of the players taking. PM Narendra Modi was hosting the victorious team, including the players and the Rahul Dravid-led support staff, for a special breakfast. The Prime Minister will listen to the experience of the Indian players in the memorable World Cup campaign in the Caribbean. PM Modi was among the first ones to congratulate the team after India defeated South Afrrica in the final of the T20 World Cup at Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday.
