Tarun Chugh: PM Modi provided medical insurance to the citizens of J&K

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh who is on  a two day visit in Jammu addressed a public gathering in Udhampur and lauded the PM Modi’s various welfare schemes.

Lauding Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) launched on August 28, 2014, with the motive of ‘Banking the Unbanked, Chugh said, “PM Modi while standing in Red Fort said that bank accounts of financially weak and sound people will be open. Forty crore poor Indians got a chance to visit banks for the first time after their accounts were opened.

Praising  Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana healthcare scheme (PMJAY) , he said, ” Insurance sector was for rich and it was inaccessible for the  downtrodden while PM Modi provided 5 lakh medical insurance to the citizens of J&K”.

He added, “If someone has thought about the plight of the poor in the country that is only PM Modi”.

Appreciating PM Modi’s “Swatccha Bharat Mission” to construct toilets in poor households, Chugh roared from the stage in Udhampur, “I’m feeling highly proud to say that the PM Modi has completed his promise to built 10 crores toilets in poor households, which means 20 crore women of these houses now don’t have to face any shame, which they used to when they used to defecate in open”.

Commenting on Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) launched by the ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas with the aim of providing LPG connections to BPL household, Chugh said, “The people of Udhampur who live in such remote area far from the city where the women used to burn firewood to cook food while facing hardships are now preparing meals on domestic cylinders and I’m so glad to say PM Modi gave 11 crore Indians domestic cylinders”.

“I still remember how women used to fetch water from far flung water sources like tubewells, lakes but today I’m so proud BJP govt has provided water connection to 14 crore Indians”, he asserted amid a thunder of claps by people.
