An incident of stone pelting occurred on Saturday morning in Jammu & Kashmir’s Kathua district between two groups, after which a man has been arrested in this case.
According to sources, the incident happened after an argument broke out between the two groups outside Patanjali store in Kathua city, the exact reason behind the clash is not known yet.
Another incident of violence, the local cops reached at the scene when they got inputs and nabbed a man from the spot.
The two groups hurled stones and bricks at each other. It is not yet known whether someone has suffered injuries or not in this mishap.
The arrested accused man is the same person who some time ago thrashed a dhaba owner in Kathua. He was working with J&K police as a cop but after the earlier incident he was suspended by the authorities.
A case has been registered in this regard and further proceedings are under way.
