Jammu, [06 -11- 2024] – Ahead of the upcoming Jhiri Mela, a detailed security review visit was conducted by SSP Security Jammu, Shri R.S. Sambyal, IPS, accompanied by ADSP Security Mamta Sharma and DySPs Mahesh Sharma, Sunil Gupta, Anjana, and Kunzes (security jammu cetral pool ). The team assessed the overall arrangements to ensure a safe and peaceful event for the devotees and visitors.
During the visit, SSP Security Jammu offered prayers and sought blessings at the mela site, emphasizing the cultural and spiritual significance of the occasion. Following the rituals, he led a thorough inspection of the security measures, reviewing current arrangements and assessing additional requirements to enhance crowd control, emergency response, and coordination among various units.
Special attention was given to identifying locations for setting up local stalls to maintain hassle-free movement and minimize crowd congestion. This strategic planning aims to create a secure environment that allows visitors to enjoy the festivities without any disturbances, while ensuring rapid response routes for emergencies.
The visit underscored the dedication of the Security Jammu team in making the Jhiri Mela a safe, orderly, and enriching experience for all. Additional measures, including increased patrolling, surveillance, and cooperation with local agencies, are expected to be implemented in the coming days.
