Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam Shri Sahil Sarangal-IPS chaired a crime and security review meeting at DPO Kulgam to discuss the current law and order situation and security measures in the district.
The meeting was attended by Deputy director Prosecution SKR Anantnag, ASP Kulgam, ASP NHW Qazigund, PP court Kulgam, SDPOs, DySP PCs, all SHOs, IC PPs. During the meeting, the officers discussed various issues, including anti-terrorist operations, disposal of pending UAPA/NDPS cases, security of vulnerable persons, and prevention of social crimes and cybercrimes.
SSP Kulgam emphasized the importance of strengthening the counter-insurgency and security grid, taking stringent action against those involved in anti-national activities, and keeping proper surveillance on areas of concern.
The officers were instructed to adopt a public-centric approach, ensure redressal of public grievances, and take action against those involved in illegal activities and ensuring a safe and secure environment for the citizens.
