After ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR was nominated in the Best Original Song category at the Oscars 2023, the director of the movie, SS Rajamouli, expressed his exhilaration on Twitter.
Sharing a note on the microblogging site, Rajamouli wrote, “My peddanna (MM Keeravani) got an Oscars nomination for his song in my film. I can’t ask for more; I am currently doing Naatu Naatu more vigorously than Tarak (Jr NTR) and Charan (Ram Charan).Rajamouli, highlighting one of the most gripping parts of the song – its choreography, said, “The main reason is Tarak and Charan’s sync and style. They danced their way into the hearts of audiences across the globe; Sorry for the torture. But I will not hesitate to do it again.”
The director said he had never dreamt of an Oscars, “even in his wildest dream”.
