Srinagar, Jan 20 (Gulistan News TV): In a major operation against drug trafficking, Srinagar Police along with Tehsildar South Srinagar, raided Shree Maruti Courier Company in Karan Nagar and uncovered a significant haul of banned drugs.
Acting on credible information, the officials inspected several suspicious parcels during the raid and recovered a large quantity of controlled substances.
According to the reliable sources, seized drugs include 240 bottles of Codeine, 20 boxes (3,360 tablets) of Spasmo Proxyvon, 78 strips (780 tablets) of Vivotrip and 76 strips (760 tablets) of Pregabalin. The entire consignment has been taken to Police Station Karan Nagar for further investigation.
An official confirmed the recovery and stated that an inquiry has been initiated to trace the origins and intended recipients of these drugs. Efforts are underway to identify those involved in the illegal drug trade.
