Specially-abled persons held agitation in Poonch

Several Specially-abled persons on Tuesday held protest demonstration against authorities for failing to provide monthly pension to them.
As per sources, several persons with disabilities led by District Disabled persons President Mohd Farid Malik staged a protest at Krishan Chander park in Poonch district and expressed anger against District Welfare Department demanding release of monthly pension which have been stopped since more than a year now and which has made their life miserable.
The beneficiaries have said that they are also not getting schemes run by govt for specially-disabled persons. They have appealed to authorities to provide them with financial assistance without further delay.
