In light of the observance of Meraj-ul-Alam (SAW), road transport authorities in Kashmir have announced the deployment of a special bus service to ease the travel of devotees heading to Dargah Hazratbal.
An official said that besides extra deployment of buses across Kashmir, approximately 100 buses, including e-buses, have been strategically stationed across Srinagar to ensure seamless transportation for devotees.
He said that the department aims to accommodate devotees from various parts of Kashmir with a special focus on facilitating their journey to Dargah Hazratbal on the occasion of Mehraj-Ul-Alam (SAW).
“In addition to special bus service, a dedicated counter has been established at Lal Chowk near Makkah Market to assist devotees with their travel arrangements to Dargah Hazratbal”, the official said.
He added that the deployment of special bus service will remain in place till Friday evening.
