Srinagar, Jan 15 (Gulistan News Tv): Renowned scholar, research scholar, theologian, historian, researcher, critic, preacher, and orator of the Ahlul Bayt, Ayatollah Allama Aga Syed Muhammad Hadi Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi Al-Kashmiri, while addressing several grand gatherings, stated that societal reform is the guarantee of a bright future. However, unfortunately, the minority role of the Muslim-majority state of Kashmir is being tarnished under a planned conspiracy. Its religious, cultural, social, societal, academic, educational, and ethical values are under intense and prolonged assault.
Under the pretext of national events and ceremonies, Kashmiri girls are being encouraged towards shamelessness, immorality, and indecency in the name of promoting culture. Modesty and traditional values are being undermined, and young people are being systematically made addicted to drugs and intoxicants. In the name of tourism development and providing luxuries for tourists, arrangements for bars and gambling houses are being organized. Anti-social elements are being given free rein, and the government administration is helpless in curbing and controlling these elements.
In religious matters, deviation from the teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) is being promoted, and the ideology of Yazid is being supported. Moral, cultural, spiritual, human, and cultural values are being trampled. Materialistic and unethical values are being upheld in place of spiritual and ethical teachings. Love, compassion, brotherhood, peace, tranquility, unity, and harmony are being shattered. Centuries-old Kashmiri sectarian traditions, unity, and character are being destroyed. The ongoing onslaught on Kashmiri culture is intensifying, and the increasing trend of drug addiction among youth is leading to societal decline. Comprehensive reforms are needed in all areas of life, as the younger generation is being led toward destruction and devastation. Children’s attire is being made indecent, and ordinary Kashmiris are being alienated from spiritual and ethical values.
Kashmir, for centuries a spiritual haven and a paradise for global tourists, has now been paralyzed by adverse circumstances, affecting the peace-loving Kashmiri population. For the progress and prosperity of any nation, a stable economic and financial system is essential, but the dire condition, poverty, and deprivation of the Kashmiri people are well-known. The state government has been rendered powerless, and its democratic powers have been stripped. The Kashmiri people, long helpless and oppressed, are now suffering from despair, poverty, and neglect.
Aga Sahib has strongly urged the central and state governments to fulfill their electoral promises and focus on the development and prosperity of the state. They must take effective measures to provide better opportunities for the youth, realize their bright future, and work for the welfare of traders and businessmen. Additionally, attention should be given to controlling the supply and hoarding of drugs and intoxicants. Aga Sahib has also appealed to the Kashmiri people to unite and peacefully present their legitimate demands to the state government through their elected representatives, as determination and unity are key to success.

These individuals publicly insulted the revered companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with offensive words. Aga Sahib stated, “Such undesirable elements do not represent the Shia community. We are those who engage in discourse with a smile and know that there is no room for such offensive language against the companions of Prophet Muhammad in our religious beliefs.” Gulistan News Tv
