The Hon’ble Mayor of Srinagar, junaid Azim Mattu unfurls the National Flag on 74th Republic Day at SMC Central Office in Srinagar.
The flag-unfurling ceremony was held early in the morning despite the inclement weather conditions.
The ceremony was attended by Worthy Commissioner Mr.Athar Amir Khan, Hon’ble, Chairman Health, and Sanitation Mr.Arif Majeed Pampori, Hon’ble Corporators and other senior officials and staff members from the corporation.
Mr. Mattu extended a heart-warming greeting to the whole nation on the 74th Republic Day. In his address to the participants, he said, “our country is bestowed with wonderful culture and heritage and we all should take pride in this vibrant and diverse nation”.
He added, This occasion provides us an ample opportunity to celebrate the golden moments of the National Republic Day.
