Pakistan speedster Shaheen Afridi, who is one of the finest pacers in world cricket at the moment, is all set to marry the daughter of former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. While the rumours of Shaheen’s wedding with Afridi’s daughter have been doing the rounds for quite some time, it has now been officially confirmed by Afridi.
As reported by Cricket Pakistan, Shaheen will tie the knot with Afridi’s daughter ahead of the next season of Pakistan Super League (PSL). The report also confirmed that the wedding date has been fixed.

Shaheen, who has so far represented Pakistan in 25 Tests, 32 ODIs and 47 T20Is, is all set to tie the knot with Afridi’s daughter Ansha on February 3 next year. After the wedding, Shaheen will join Lahore Qalandars for PSL. While the nikkah will take place in Karachi according to the Afridi tribes, the official wedding will take place later.

Shaheen was not a part of the recently concluded three-match Test series against England as he is under rehab at the National High-Performance Center (NHPC).
Afridi played a key role for Pakistan in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 where he bagged 11 wickets after going wicketless in the first two matches against India and Zimbabwe.
