On Wednesday morning, emails containing bomb threats were sent to at least six museums in Delhi, including the National Rail Museum. However, the threats were eventually found to be fraudulent.
After learning about the danger, the police and bomb squad arrived at the places and looked over the property.
The National Rail Museum in Chanakyapuri has also received the email, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Devesh Mahla. The emails’ source is currently being investigated by the police.
Hospitals, schools, and universities in Delhi have received multiple bomb hoax emails in the last few months, causing the authorities to evacuate the area and conduct searches.
The Delhi Police Special Cell’s Counter-Intelligence Unit has combined all of the cases and is investigating them in an effort to identify the sender and nation of origin of the emails.
