Jan Abhiyan activities being held in all three municipalities of district Ramban witnessed huge public participation on the last day of the week-long campaign launched as a precursor to ‘My Town My Pride’ phase-2.
President, MC, Sunita Sumbria attended an awareness camp organized by the Municipal Council, Ramban at Maitra Park which was attended by the Councillors, Prominent Citizens, officers of line departments and the general public.
Similarly, Municipal Committee Banihal organized My Town My Pride programmes where officers of line departments sensitized the people about various developmental, social, and job-oriented schemes of their respective sectors.
Municipal Committee Batote sensitized the people about the City Livelihood Plan during an awareness programme attended by the President, Ravinder Singh, officers of line departments and general public.
The officers of line departments sensitized the participants about the schemes of their respective departments, besides encouraging the youth to take benefit of various government schemes.
