Benchmark stock market indices bounced back to end higher on Wednesday as positive Q4 results led to broad-based gains across sectors, offsetting fears of a possible recession in the United States.
At closing, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 169.87 points at 60,300.58, while the NSE Nifty 50 settled 44.35 points higher at 17,813.60. The broader markets also reversed intraday losses to end higher at the end of the session.
