A defence security Corps personnel allegedly committed suicide at old airport in Budgam district on Wednesday.
An official told the Kashmir Scroll that a defence security Corps (DSC) personnel has allegedly committed suicide from his service riffle at his unit on Wednesday
He identified him as Head constable Malkit Singh (52) a resident of Chakoke, tehsil of Dahilwan District Kapurthala Punjab state.
He added that legal and medical formalities have been initiated and family members have been informed.
He added that reasons behind the extreme step wasn’t immediately known, however, investigation have been taken up.
