A Vistara flight operating from Frankfurt to Mumbai on Wednesday received a security threat on social media, an airline spokesperson said, adding that the aircraft was taken to an isolation bay for inspection after landing safely at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
This is the 13th such incident in just four days that Indian flights, operating both on domestic and international routes, received fake bomb threats. The targeted airlines include Air India, IndiGo, and Akasa Air.
