Sania Mirza crashes out of her penultimate career tournament in first round at Abu Dhabi Open

Sania Mirza’s campaign in her penultimate career tournament short-lived as she crashed out of the Abu Dhabu Open in the first round on Monday.

Mirza and American Bethanie Mattek-Sands suffered straight sets defeat against the German-Belgian pair of Laura Siegemund and Kirsten Flipkens 3-6, 4-6 in the women’s doubles Round of 16 match.
