Samba Police nabbed 3 criminals in Jammu

The Samba police has nabbed three criminals for different degree of crimes in Samba yesterday.
As per sources, a police team comprised of SHO PS Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO PS Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma and PSI Nirmal Singh under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary apprehended a rapist, a drug supplier with heroin valued at Rs 22000 approximately and another accused of killing a woman in a road accident.
The nabbed accused were identified as Shambu Ram s/o Bittu Ram r/o Bazigar Basti Swankha morh Vijaypur, Dharminder Singh s/o Baldev Raj r/o Bashat tehsil Chenani district Udhampur and Dhuni Chand s/o Sant Ram r/o Udhampur.
Shambu Ram is a rape accused and was apprehended in case FIR No. 174/2023 u/s 376, 452, 323 IPC registered at Police Station Vijaypur on the written complaint of a woman while Dharminder Singh was arrested at Sarore, Bari Brahmana with heroin of Rs 22000 in case FIR No. 273 U/S 8/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act. However, the third accused Dhuni Chand was arrested for murdering a woman by carelessly driving.
