Samba police arrests 2 thieves, solves 2 cases

Under the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Benam Tosh, police has arrested two thieves, solved theft case and recovered stolen items worth Rs 30000.

The arrested thieves have been identified as Himat Sumbria, son of Ramesh Kumar of Jallochak, Purmandal Morh, tehsil Bari-Brahmana, district Samba and Pragya Badyal, son of Ganesh Dutt of New Plot district Jammu.

A case FIR No. 71/2023 which was registered under section 379 IPC at Police Station, Bari-Brahmana, district Samba has been solved by police and further investigation is going on.
The arrests were made by a police team comprising of SHO Bari-Brahmana, Sunil Sharma, PSI, Abrar Ahmed and SI, Dharampal under the supervision of SDPO, Bari-Brahmana, Rahul Nagar and Additional SP, Samba Surinder Choudhary.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Samba, Benam Tosh said that total 58 thieves have been arrested and 30 theft cases have been solved by Samba Police in two and half months after the launch of intensive drive against thieves.
