Rusted mortar shells recovered in Jammu
Police yesterday recovered eight rusted mortar shells in Pallanwala area in Akhnoor sector of Jammu district.
“Locals had found these shells while digging their fields. They informed the police which along with the bomb disposal squad reached the spot. They were 83 mm old shells, which were defused at an isolated place by the bomb disposal squad,” officials said.
