Security forces on Monday found a rusted mortar shell and a grenade in two different locations in Jammu region, which were defused timely by Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) later on.
Officials said that in two different incidents, a rusted grenade and a mortar shell were found by Jammu & Kashmir Police in J&K High Court Parking area and Railway Line in Udhampur.
Soon after the incident personnel of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) were called in to the service, who timely detonated both using controlled explosion.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter and started up investigations.
