Finance chiefs of the world’s largest economies strongly condemned Moscow for its war on Ukraine on Saturday, with only China and Russia itself declining to sign a joint statement.
The meeting ended without a joint communique after faultlines over how to describe Russia’s invasion of Ukraine could not be bridged.
Instead, a G20 Chair’s Summary and Outcome Document was released after the two-day meeting of Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG).
