The northwest region of India is witnessing a significant rise in temperature even though February is not over yet, prompting the meteorological department to issue an advisory.

This rise in temperature could end up being dangerous for the standing wheat crop and is a matter of concern for farmers.

With the shifting of a lower level anti-cyclone towards the northern parts of the central Arabian Sea, the maximum temperature may fall by two-three degrees Celsius over the region covering Konkan, Goa and Gujarat over the next three days with no significant change thereafter.
