On Sunday, the Srinagar-Leh highway was closed following mudslides caused by a cloudburst near Cherwan Padabal in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district. According to officials, the cloudburst led to significant mudslides that blocked the road, halting traffic on this major route. Rescue teams have been dispatched to the area and are actively working to clear the debris and restore access to the highway.
