Inhabitants of Rajouri town of ward number 2 today staged a protest against Jal Shakti Department.
Scores of women’s blocked the main road staging a protest against Jal Shakti Department. Protesters kept main road from Gujjar Mandi Chowk to Panja Chowk blocked.
Sources told that Soon after the protest Police teams rushed to the spot and pacified the protestors.
As per Sources Locals of area said that there is no other source of water supply in the locality. The residents depend upon on water supply scheme from Jal Shakti Department.” We knocked all the doors of Jal Shakti Department officers but of no avail.
The concerned pay no attention towards the issue ,” said locals, they urged LG adminstration to solve their problem as soon as possible.
