Assembly Elections-2024
KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 04: In preparation to the General Election to the Legislative Assembly-2024, the first Randomization of Polling Staff to be deployed at 704 Polling Stations in the Six Assembly Constituencies across Kathua District was held today at VC Room of DC Office Complex.
The Randomization process was held under the supervision of District Election Officer (DEO) Dr Rakesh Minhas in presence of the concerned Officers.
The Randomization process was conducted through dedicated Software as per the prescribed guidelines of Election Commission of India ensuring fairness and impartiality in the selection of Polling Staff.
A database of 3898 employees was randomized which includes around 40% of reserve staff in order to meet any exigency.
Deputy District Election Officer Nagesh Singh, Nodal Officer MCC Ranjit Singh (ADC), Nodal Officer Trainings ( CPO) Ranjit Thankur, Nodal Officer MCMC, EMC, I/C Control Room Neeraj Bhargav (DIO) and other concerned were present during the Randomisation process.
