Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader who has been disqualified as an MP, along with his sister Priyanka Gandhi, is scheduled to visit a border district in Kerala on Tuesday. They will participate in several UDF-organized events, intended to showcase their strength.

Last month, Rahul Gandhi was disqualified as the Member of Parliament from Wayanad constituency following his conviction and sentencing in a criminal defamation case.

In the afternoon, the siblings would join a roadshow named ‘Satyameva Jayate’ in Kalpetta.

According to the Congress party, during the ‘Satyameva Jayate’ roadshow in Kalpetta, only the National Flag would be used instead of party flags.

Following the roadshow, there will be a Cultural Democratic Defense event as part of the conference, where prominent cultural activists from Kerala are expected to participate, according to the party.

Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi are scheduled to address a public gathering in the border district of Kerala later in the afternoon.

The UDF-organized conference will also see the participation of senior Congress leaders, including AICC General Secretary K C Venugopal, KPCC President K Sudhakaran, Muslim League State President Panakkad Sayyid Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal, AICC General Secretary Tariq Anwar, and the Leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly V D Satheesan.
