Rahul on Ride: Rahul Gandhi, the Congress leader on a visit to Ladakh, was seen riding a bike to Pangong Lake on Saturday.
Congress released images of Rahul Gandhi riding a bike on its official X (previously Twitter) handle. Rahul Gandhi also posted some photos on his Instagram account.
Rahul Gandhi captioned the photos on Instagram, “On our way to Pangong Lake, which my father used to say is one of the most beautiful places in the world.”
The Congress president arrived in Leh on Thursday for a two-day tour. His tour, however, has been extended till August 25. According to the facts, Rahul Gandhi would do pooja at Pangong Lake on August 20 – his father Rajiv Gandhi’s birthday.
Rahul Gandhi met with Youth Congress leaders and workers in Ladakh on Friday. Later, he participated in a football game in the neighbourhood.
Gandhi’s visit to Ladakh is his first after the repeal of Article 370 in 2019. It comes ahead of polls for the 30-member Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC)-Kargil and general elections next year.
