Mohd Ramzan Wani, beloved uncle of Qayoom Wani, Chairman of J&K Civil Society Forum and former EJAC President, departed from this world in the early hours of Tuesday at the National Heart Institute in East of Kailash, Delhi. The demise followed a brief illness, leaving behind a trail of sorrow among family, friends, and well-wishers.

The news of Uncle Mohd Ramzan Wani’s passing has cast a pall of grief over his family and the wider community. Fondly remembered for his warmth, generosity, and wisdom, his absence will be keenly felt by all who knew him.

In accordance with Islamic tradition, the Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayer) for the departed soul will be held at his ancestral graveyard in Wussan Bangil, Tangmarg, on the 13th of February, preceding the Nimaz-e-Asar prayer at 4 pm. The family extends an invitation to all friends, relatives, and well-wishers to join them in praying for the eternal peace and tranquility of the departed soul.

“As the community gathers to bid farewell to Uncle Mohd Ramzan Wani, it is a time for reflection on his life, his contributions, and the legacy he leaves behind. In this moment of bereavement, the family finds solace in the support and prayers of those around them, drawing strength from the shared memories and the enduring bonds of love,” said Wani.
