Protest against JKSSB: Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) aspirants are on strict strike from last couple of months. The candidates are protesting on roads continuously and the sad part of the protest is that they have been ignored by the Government officials and Honorable Governor Manoj Sinha. It is claimed by the protesters that despite their hard work and dedication to crack the exam there is always unfair selection happening at the end.

Yesterday, the Job Aspirants had decided to assemble at Dogra Chowk against the Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board and decided to demonstrate their office in a joint gathering. During the protest police did a baton charge (Lathi-Charge) where the dozens of aspirants were injured and several were detained by the police and then taken to police custody.

According to reports, In Kashmir the unemployment is at its peak the job seekers only find government jobs secure as there is non-availability of private sectors in a huge number. Protesters are against the Aptech company through which the exams of JKSSB were conducted. Protestors talking to media during the protest at Dogra Chowk area in Jammu has said it very clearly that if the upcoming exams will be conducted by the ApTech company then they will not be appearing in the exams. They added ‘ApTech was found culprit in the last year Sub Inspector Post exams still no action was taken against them, this is how government is hurting the sentiments of Kashmiri people’.
