President Municipal Council Kulgam on Saturday won the floor test by a margin of eight votes after a no-confidence motion was moved against him.
An official told the news that 5 councilors had moved a no-confidence motion against the incumbent president, following which a floor test was mandated.
He said that the incumbent president, however, won the floor test by a margin of eight votes. Muneeb Zargar said he is thankful to those who choose him again and kept faith on me.
He said that due to development in the Kulgam town people voted for him. “Some people don’t want any development in Kulgam and no confidence motion was also their work,” he said
