Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police arrested two peddlers and recovered narcotics in Zachaldara area.
On April 19, 2023, a police party of Police Post Zachaldara, while on naka duty at Sultanpora crossing, apprehended two persons who had attempted to avoid the police party suspiciously
On search, around 45 grams of *Charas* like substance was recovered from their possession. The persons have been identified as *Farooq Ahmad Dar @Jungle S/o Mohd Sultan R/o Lachipora* and *Bilal Ahmad Khan S/o Mohammad Anwar Khan R/o Wadipora*.
In With, *FIR No.86/2023 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act* registered in PS Handwara and investigation initiated.
