Authorities on Sunday stated that due to poor surface condition the vehicular movement is going on very slow at Dalwas on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
Officials of J&K Traffic Police advised motorists to follow the lane discipline and avoid overtaking as it will lead to congestion and interruptions into smooth movement of traffic on the highway.
“Vehicular movement is very slow at Dalwas on Jammu-Srinagar NHW due to single lane and poor surface condition of road,” the officials said.
They advised commuters to follow the lane discipline as overtaking will lead to congestion.
They further said due to road issues at many places on the highway the yesterday’s traffic load is yet to be cleared fully.
“Yesterday’s up HMV’s traffic has been not cleared yet due to road issues at many places,” the officials added.
