Police solved burglary case in Samba

Samba Police has solved a burglary case registered at Police Station Vijaypur, arrested thief and recovered stolen items from his possession.

On 28.03.2024, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Vijaypur by one Subash Chander s/o Bal Krishan R/o Vijaypur regarding theft of coating readymade garments from his shop located at main market Vijaypur by an unknown person.

Acting on the complaint, a case FIR No. 43/2024 U/S 380 IPC has been registered at Policed Station Vijaypur and investigation started.

During the course of investigation, police has rounded up a suspect on the basis of CCTV footage and technical analysis. Upon sustained interrogation, the accused confessed his involvement in the instant case. The arrested accused has been identified as Love Kumar @ Labhu Punjabi S/o Kahan Chand R/o Tibber Gurdaspur, Punjab A/P Ramgarh Road Vijaypur.

Further on his disclosure, stolen items has been recovered by police from near AIIMS Vijaypur behind Shamshan Ghat. Investigation of the case is going on.
